Abstract: This paper deals with the classification of Flacourtia L'Herit. from China, and records 5 species. The genus is distinguished into two sections:sect. Ⅰ. Connatistylatae and sect. Ⅱ. Flacourtia. The argument that Flacourtia indica Merr. and Flacourtia ramontchi L'Herit. are the same species or two different species is discussed. According to the differences of their fruits and styles, they should be different species in different sections. Meanwhile, a newly-recorded species Flacourtia jangomas(Lout) Rauschel in china is reported as well.
