林木生物工程的研究现状与展望

FOREST TREE BIOTECHOLOGY THE PRESENT SITUATION AND PROSPECT

  • 摘要: 生物工程主要有基因工程、细胞工程、酶工程和发酵工程。近20年间,植物生物工程的研究取得了很大的进展。利用基因重组技术已实现了多种树木的转化;细胞和组织培养、原生质体培养等技术的完善为树木的试管繁殖、种质保存等提供了保证。酶工程和发酵工程技术也为林业的发展开辟了新的途径。

     

    Abstract: The basic concepts and progress of four aspects of biotechnology, namely, gene engineering, cellular biotechnology, enzymatic and fermentable biotechnology and their application in forest trees were reviewed. For the past several years, there have been many reports on transgenic woody plants. Plant and cell culture, protoplast culture and cell fusion and other cellular biotechnology plus gene recombination methods have shown their great potential in tree hardness and pest and disease resistance breeding, rapid propagation for plantation and germ plasm preservation of rare species. Enzymatic and fermentable biotechnology provides alternatives in developing forest products.
