Abstract: The trial of afforestation methods and cutting test of Acacia dealbataLink,in Bajie,Anning County has been completed,and the statistic analysis showsthe character of the species is of fast growing,high meagerhess resistance,high droughtresis tance,good natural regeneration,high yieid,high caloricity and easilycutting.The practice for using as fuelwood is quite simple and the main managing meth-od is rotation cutting in a short period.The yearly average wood volume per tree canreach 4.11 kg,and it can go 10 295.55 kg/hm² if there are 5010 trees each hm².Thisvield is bevond the target of 9000 kg/hm²yearly which is the target of the Ministry ofForestry Therefore,the species is a kind of good fuelwood in the central part ofYunnan Province.
