Abstract:
The drought tolerance of 15 silvicultural species in dry-hot valley of Yuanmou was comprehensively studied by principal component analysis method depending on 9 physiological indexes The results show that leave water conservation ability, relative water content, permeability of plasma memberane and superoxide dismutase activity are leading factor for the determination of the drought tolerance of plant in the dry-hot valley, while water potential and transpiratory rate is second factors The drought tolerance is ordinated to these silvicutural species.
