闽江河口秋茄幼林与成熟林叶性状与经济谱的特征研究

Leaf traits and leaf economic spectrum of Kandelia obovata at different ages in Minjiang River Estuary

  • 摘要: 为明确幼林与成熟林叶性状特征及叶经济谱的变化特征,以福州市闽江河口湿地5年生、15年生秋茄林叶片为研究对象,通过测定叶形态性状、叶化学特征、叶气孔性状、叶脉特征、光合特征共30项指标,比较5年生和15年生秋茄叶性状之间的差异,构建秋茄不同树龄的叶经济谱。结果表明:在叶形态与化学特征方面,5年生秋茄叶厚度、叶碳含量显著高于15年生,而叶面积则相反。在气孔与叶脉特征方面,5年生的叶厚度、叶气孔宽、气孔面积、气孔周长、气孔开口长、气孔开口宽、气孔开口面积、气孔开口周长、气孔密度、细脉密度等10个结构性特征均显著高于15年生。在光合特征方面,5年生的气孔导度、水分利用速率、羧化速率等3个光合特征均显著高于15年生,而叶胞间CO2浓度则相反。综上,5年生、15年生秋茄叶性状间差异显著,展现出不同的植物生存策略。其中,5年生秋茄叶经济谱表现为较厚的叶厚度、叶磷含量高、气孔密度大、气孔开口大、细脉密度高、光合能力强及较低比叶面积、叶氮含量等积极的叶活动,表现出更旺盛的生长活力与光合作用效率,有利于快速积累生物量,为“快速投资一收益型”的叶经济谱模式。15年生秋茄叶经济谱表现为较薄的叶厚度、叶磷含量低、气孔密度小、气孔开口小、细脉密度低、光合能力弱及较高比叶面积、叶氮含量等特性,表现出更简化的形态结构并降低其化学活性,从而提升在不利生境中的持久生存能力,为“缓慢投资—收益型”叶经济谱模式。

     

    Abstract: In order to clarify the characteristics of leaf traits and leaf economic spectrum of Mendelian ovation in young and mature forests, the leaves of 5-year-old and 15-year-old K.ovation forests in Minjiang River estuary wetland of Fuzhou City were studied. By measuring 30 indexes of leaf morphological traits, leaf chemical characteristics, leaf stomachs traits, leaf vein characteristics and photosynthetic characteristics, the differences of leaf traits between 5-year-old and 15-year-old K. obovata were compared, and the leaf economic spectrum of different ages of K. obovata was constructed. The results showed that in terms of leaf morphology and chemical characteristics, leaf thickness and leaf carbon content of K. obovata in 5-year-old were significantly higher than those in 15-year-old, while leaf area was the opposite. In terms of stomatal and leaf vein characteristics, the 10 structural characteristics of leaf thickness, leaf stomatal width, stomatal area, stomatal perimeter, stomatal opening length, stomatal opening width, stomatal opening area, stomatal opening perimeter, stomatal density, veinlet density in 5-year-old were significantly higher than those in 15-year-old. In terms of photosynthetic characteristics, the three photosynthetic characteristics of stomatal conductance, water use rate, carboxylation rate in 5-year-old were significantly higher than those in 15-year-old, while intercellular CO2 concentration was opposite. In summary, there were significant differences in leaf traits between 5-year-old and 15-year-old K. obovata, showing different plant survival strategies. Among them, The leaf economic spectrum of K. obovata in 5-year-old showed thicker leaf thickness, higher leaf phosphorus content, larger stomatal density, larger stomatal opening, higher veinlet density, stronger photosynthetic capacity and lower specific leaf area, leaf nitrogen content and other positive leaf activities, showing stronger growth vigor and photosynthetic efficiency, which was the leaf economic spectrum model of 'rapid investment-income type'. The economic spectrum of K. obovata leaves in 15-year-old showed thin leaf thickness, low leaf phosphorus content, small stomatal density, small stomatal opening, low vein density, weak photosynthetic capacity and high specific leaf area, leaf nitrogen content and other characteristics, showing a more simplified morphological structure and reducing its chemical activity, thereby improving the long-term survival ability in unfavorable habitats, which was a 'slow investment-income' leaf economic spectrum model.
