西宁5种观赏灌木引种适应性比较与观赏性评价

Comparison of Introduced Adaptability and Ornamental Evaluation of Five Ornamental Shrubs in the Xining City

  • 摘要: 对5种观赏灌木进行了引种栽培与露地适应性试验,结合灰色关联度分析法对其观赏性进行综合评价。结果表明:欧洲荚蒾、天目琼花、白雪果、粉花绣线菊在西宁地区能正常开花、结实、落叶,适应性良好,可在西宁地区园林绿化中引种推广。大花水桠木越冬后1年生枝条约1/3长度的稍部干枯不发芽,下部约2/3的部分能正常发芽、生长、开花,其圆锥花序直径大,花期长,作为园林观赏树种,建议在小气候条件较好的地方适量引种,作宿根植物进行推广应用,可弥补秋季缺乏开花树种的不足。采用灰色关联分析法进行观赏性评价,得出植物观赏价值排序:粉花绣线菊>欧洲荚蒾>天目琼花>大花水桠木>白雪果。粉花绣线菊在西宁地区生长表现良好,观赏性突出且生态适应性较强,可优先在本地园林中推广栽植。

     

    Abstract:
    This study introduced and cultivated five ornamental shrubs—Viburnum opulus L., Viburnum opulus Linn. var. cattlecens, Hydrangea paniculata Sieb, Symphoricarpos albus, and Spiraea japonica L.f—and tested their adaptability to open field conditions. Using grey correla-
    tion analysis, their ornamental value was comprehensively assessed. The findings indicated that V. opulus, V. opulus Linn. var. calvescens, S. albus, and S. japonica L.f. could flower, fruit, and shed leaves normally in the Xining area, demonstrating good adaptability and suitability for landscaping there. For H. paniculata Sieb., about one-third of the length of one-year-old twigs dried and failed to sprout after winter, while approximately two-thirds of the lower part successfully germinated, grew, and bloomed. Its large panicle size and extended flowering period make it a recommended garden ornamental tree species to be introduced in suitable microclimate locations as a perennial, helping to address the shortage of flowering trees in autumn. The grey correlation analysis ranked the plants’ ornamental value as follows: S. japonica L.f. > V. opulus > V. opulus Linn. var. cattlecens > H. paniculata Sieb. > S. albus. S. japonica L.f. exhibited strong growth, excellent ornamental qualities, and robust ecological adaptability in the Xining area, making it a preferred choice for local gardens. Overall, this study provides a theoretical foundation for introducing and selecting ornamental shrubs and for garden plant arrangement in the Xining region.
