  • A new species,Arceuthobium iibetense sp.nov.is described in the present paper.This parasite is confined to and common on Abies georgei Orr.It causes serious damage to the Abies georgei forests in Li-long-gou(Inner Dragon Valley),Mainling Xian,Xizang(Tibet).Latin and Chinese diagnoses are given for the new species.A key to the China species of Arceuthobium is attached to this paper,introducing four species and one variety of the genus known in China.A map showing their distribution is presented.
