A BRIEF DESCRIPTION ON THE BARK BEETLES OF YUNNAN(Coleoptera:Scolytidae)

This paper records the species of bark beetles collected from high-mountain coniferous forests of Likiang and the yunnan pine forests in the upper and middle parts of Nan-Pan river basin.There are altogether 31 species belonging to 14 genera.Most of them,are more injurious pests in our coniferous forests,such as enumerated in the following.Scolytus morawitzi,Hylurgops glabraius,Hylastes ater,Blastophogus piniperda,Blastophagus minor,Dryocoetes siriaius,Trypodendron lineatum,Ips acuminaius,Ips typographus,Ips sexdentatus,Ips subelongaius,Xylcborus eurygraphus,Orthoiomicus proximus etc.
