The distribution of forest pest and its intergrated management in Lijiang region

This paper is the result of investigating the distribution of forest pest in Lijiang,Yunnan Province,The author suggests that the forest area of the region be divided into three types on the basis of the ecological characteristics of the pest:1).Type of plains and orchards;2).Type of young and middle age forest of Pinus yunnanensis;3).Type of mixed forest of coniferous and broad-leaved trees.And it is proposed that the strategy and tactics of IPM are to be atopted according to the geographical distribution pattern of the important forest pests and the features of ecological environment of the forest area.
