  • An experiment of the forest land inventory was made by means of the air photographs and LANDSAT remotely sensed images with unequal probability sampling in Tengchong county,Yunnan province.The unequal probability sampling is designed in variable probability,i.c.,sampling with probability proportional to size.The land area is calculated from the statistical model:A=1/n ??? ai/pi Here,n is the sample size.pi is the probability.ai is the sample datum.The techaique is available in practice for the experiment is successful.
