THE EFFECTS OF AMOUNTS OF COTTON STALK FIBERS AND STORAGE OF COTTON STALKS ON THE PROPERTIES OF PARTICLEBOARD BASED ON COTTON STALKS

  • This paper is the third part of our studies on the manufacture of particle-board based on cotton stalks. It deals with the effects of amounts of cotton stalk fibers and storage of cotton stalks on the properties of particleboard based on cotton stalks. The results show that long and twisty bark fibers have a bad effect on TS. IB and screw holding strength of the board, and the appro-priate storage of cotton stalks in the open air is available for the improvement of the board.
