A STUDY ON THE KARYOTYPE ANALYSIS OF PINUS ARMANDII FRANCH
The karyotype of Pinus armandii Franch. was analysed on meristematic cell of the root tips. The result shows that the chromosome number in each somatic cell is 2n=24. The first 11 pairs of chromosomes(No. 1-11) are metacentric, and the other pair(No. 12)is submetacentric. One secondary constriction was observed on the long arm of the third pair chromosomes.
