AN APPROACH TO THE VERTICAL DISTRIBUTION PATTERN OF PLANT LIFE FORMS IN WOLONG NATURAL RESERVE

In this report,Wolong Natural Reserve is devided into six vertical distribution zones on the basis of the survey of plant species,plant life forms and the plant distribution at different altitudes.By researching the type and table of the plant life in cach zone,a conclusion was drawn as follows,There are plants of various life forms in Wolong district,but dominantly phanerophyles and hemicryptophytes.There are different types and tables of the plant life on different elevations.The higher an elevation is,the fewer the phanerophytes are and the more hemicryptophytes grow.Above the altitude of 4500m,there are no phancrophytes at all.The distribution proportion of the plants of different life forms on the different elevations decreases with the rise of the elevations except the second elevational level.
