A PRELIMINARY STUDY ON THE EFFECT OF MICROWAVE RADIATION TREATMENT OF YUNNAN PINE SEEDLINGS

  • Yunnan pine(P.yunnanensis),as a good pioneer for forestation on Yun-nan plateau,is of great significance in forestry production of the province.The results of an experimental study on the effect of microwave radiation treatments on Yunnan pine seeds show that a suitable radiation dosage can increase the seed germination rate and promote the seedling growth thus improving the potential of forestation quality.Data collected from the above experiment on various radiation dosages are analized and discussed.
