  • By means of measuring the water content ratio of the forest combustible materials in dtfferent stands, observing the microclimate in the forest, and making some experiments on ignition, the authors have analyzed the variation laws of the water content ratio, and have discussed the correlations of the water content ratio, the microclimate and the spread speed of a starting forest fire in order to find out a simple and easy method to predict forest fires with- in a forest plot.
