A PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION ON COMMON PATHOGENIC PHYTOFARASITES OF RUBBER TREES AND TROPICAL FRUIT TREES IN YUNNAN

Abstract
There are three common pathogenic phytoparasites of rubber trees and tropical fruit trees such as mango, pomelo, citrus, etc. in Yunnan, namely: Dendrophthoe pentandra (L.) Miq.(1856), Scurrula chingii (Cheng) H. S.Kiu, and Viscum ovalifolium DC.(1830) Danser (1941). The investigation in Xishuangbanna showed that, on the average, 5.0% of rubber trees and up to 74.2% in serious rubber stands. 52.7% of mangoes, 74.2% of pomelos, and 83.2% of citruses are parasitized. It the removal of pathogenic phytoparasites of pomelos and rubber trees is carried out, better results can be acchieved.
