THE COLOUR PATTERNS AND GEOGRAPHIC DISTRIBUTION OF COCCINELLA LUTEOPICTA (MULSANT). (COLEOPERA: COCCINELLIDAE)

  • The yellow spotted ladybeetles, Coccinella luteopicta (Mulsant) variable in the colour patterns, varieties occur in the area of black markings and show a reduction, especially in the apical half of the elytron. The typical pattern individuals were shown in fig. 1, a., and the varieties were shown in fig. 1, b. c. d. As for the geographic distribution of the beetles, abundance of the species are found in Nepal, Northeastern India, Sikkim, Burma, Tibet, northwestern and northeastern Yunnan province of China.
