  • The egg-shell structure,microspine patterns of integument of the head capsule,thorax,abdomen and claw of larvae of Epilachna clematicola were observed by scanning electric microscope(SEM).The year life circle,lastingness of each life stage,tempera-ture for development of threshold,effective constant temperature of the species are studied in order to establish a formula of forecast of every stage and of lastingness of whole life circle.The result shows that there should be two generations of Epilachna clematicola a year in Kunming area,which is coincided with the situation happened in the field.
