BIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND CONTROL OF SPRUCE LEAF WEEVIL(PHYLLOBIUS SP.)
This paper reports the severe infestation of spruce leaf weevil (phyllobius sp.) on the spruce seedling and its young trees over the forest area of the county.The biological char-acteristics of the pest has been described,and an integrated control measure against the weevil has been suggested on the basis of promising results of field control tests.
