A BRIEF SURVEY OF THE BAMBOO SHOOT RESOURCES AND THEIR EXPLOITATION PROSPECTS IN ZHEJIANG PROVINCE

Based on the analysis of the present situation of bamboo shoot resources, exploitation, management and pest and disease protection in Zhejiang Province, Approaches are put forward to broaden the area of shoot-used bamboo forests, including changing timber-used bamboo forests to shoot-used ones and establishing timber-and-shoot-used forests.The improvement for high-yield techniques and technology guide is discussed as well.
