  • Several specific characteristics of the medicinal plant resources in the middle of subtropical forest ecosystems in the Gaoligongshan National Natural Reserve are reveaied in this paper:diversification of medicinal species, stratification and dispersion in the vertical distribution of medicinal plants. The authors also gave some suggestions for the protection, development and utilization of the medicinal plants in this area.
