A study on the use of phnotiazine antiagers in rubber industry

  • In this article consideration has been given to the principle and regularitiesof using 2-viny 1-phenotiazine as an anti-aging component in rubber mixture based ondienes rubbers.The research is about rubber mixtures based on rubbers SKI-3,SKS-30,ARKP,SKD and fillers P5 14,P234.Neozone-D,quinol-ED,pheno-tiazine and 2-viny 1-phenotiazine were used as anti-aging components.It has demon-strated that rubber mixtures based on SKI-3 with 2-viny1-phenotiazine have higher plas-ticity when compared with the well-known anti-ageing components:phenotiazine andquinol-ED,The use of 2-viny l-phenotia-zine shows that the rubber mixtures providevulcanizates with high stability against ozone influence and repeated defonnation。Thisanti-aging component sweats less on the rubber surface, so that it makes it possible to dorubber mixtures a greater quantity of the component without causing any anxiety aboutIink strength of separate parts of composition。Therefore,2-vinyl-phenotiazine can berecommended as an effective substitute for the existing anti-aging components.
