  • In this paper,a method for the optimization of the exhaust muffler of theinternal combustion engine is studied.By designing and calculating, the optimum result ofthe 4100QB diesel engine exhaust muffier is worked out.The muffler possesses good si-lencing properties.And by using this method, the chances of success in designing the muf-fler at a time are greatly increased.
