  • Applying factor and cluster analysis, main factors in division of forest site type were studied. This is able to implement the control of site type and increase scientific quality of the whole project design. The primary results including soil depth, aspect of soil and quick-acting P were the main factors of site type devision. By determining soil depth, aspect and soil humidity, 6 site types were divided and basic data were provided for the implement of forest and ecological engeneering in the dry-hot river valley of Yuanmou.
