Susstainable Development and Social Forestry

As forest dedline and enviroment degradation,the theory of sustainable develppement has become the strategy for global environment development.To realize sustainable development for the environment,only participatory approaches can be adopted by a large number of the masses,especially,by rural farmers.In fact,social forestry just mobilizes extensives farmers' participating all kinds of forestry activities that will benefit them.However,while large-scale rural economy goes forward,the overall environment including nature,society and economy will be sustainably developed.Therefore,sustainable develppment is the objictive of social forestry,and at the same time,socila forestry is the carrier for realizing this objective of sustainable development.
