Abstract
The paper gives the density effect model in the stand that can be used indifferent site condition and growth stages. The model described as V=αNβ1×Hβ2,where α, β1, β2, are parameters, N is the number of tree in the stand and H is theheight of dominant trees. Data collected from Pinus massoniana plantations in the northof Fujian Province have been studied and the results are satisfactory. Furthermore, theanalysis of productive elasticity and marginal yield have been made. And the paper alsocalculates the value of productive elasticity and marginal yield, which will provide thescientific basis for forest management.
