Variation in Characteristics and Their Selection Potentials of Plus Trees Among Natural Stands of Picea asperata

  • Twenty-two characteristics of plus trees that had been phenotypically selected in 7 natural stands of Pieca asperata.were analysed on their variation among the stands.Selection effectiveness of the characteristics was qualitatively pointed out on levels of the stands and the trees.A comprehensive evaluation of coordinates was applied to defne potentials for selection in the stands and to evaluate the 75 selected plus trees in 3 types.
