  • On the basis of investigation and analysis on the soil and forest vegetation in the area of colored sand forest, the technique of site preparation by using explosion hole was studied.The results showed that the survival percentage and preservation percentage of afforestation reached 98%, 96% respectively, the mean height of 1-year plantation was 1.3m, and the increment improved obviously contrasted with comparative experiment.
