A Study on the Relationship between Forest Factors and Outbreak of Dendrolimus kikuchii in Lufeng County,Yunnan Province

The relationship between outbreak of D. kikuchii and fourteen forest factors was analysed by a stepwise-regression method, and that crown density, potential of growth, slope aspects and altitude were selected out as the last four key factors.A multiphase linear regression model was made by using the four key factors.The characteristics of the pest-source stand and the stand with pests but without disaster have been summarized.
