Some Opinions on the Integrated Management of the Gaoligongshan Biosphere Reserve

In 2000, the Gaoligongshan National Nature Reserve of Yunnan province was designated as World Biosphere Reserve.A management style of open management and community participation is stressed in Biosphere Reserves, which is completely different compared with the traditional closed one.This paper analyzes the major problems of present management of the Gaoligongshan Biosphere Reserve, and gives out some suggestions.
