The Chemical Control Experiment on Pestalotia funerea of Pinus yunnanensis

In order to find out the best chemicals to control Pestalotia funerea of Pinus yunnanensis,four kinds of chemicals were tested.The results showed that three kinds of the chemicals were efficient.They were 70% Thiophanate-methyl wp(800~1 000 times),65% zineb wp(800~1 000 times),and 50% carbendazim wp(600~800 times).The protective fungicide chlorothalonil(75% wp) proved to be ineffective.The effective chemicals were more effective when sprayed in sunny days than in cloudy ones,more ineffvective in rainning days than in cloudy ones.The fungicide should by sprayed until it began to dyop from the trees.
