  • Gentiana verna is a kind of typical winter plant.Its vernalization process can be fulfilled and flower initiation can be forced when treated with 7℃ low temperature for 30~70 days.Then its flower initiation and flowering would be forced by higher temperature of 20℃ and 17 h of LD treatment.While the number of flowers increased by 17 h LD treatment,and the flower stem elongated by 8 h SD treatment.
