An Analysis on the Olomestic and Abroad Markets Prospect of Wild Edible Fungi and the Position of Yunnan Edible Fungi

Yunnan is very rich species resources of edible fungi.It is estimated that there are more than 670 species of wild edible fungi in Yunnan Province.Only sixty species ormore,however,have been developed so far,forming a certain industrial basis.By analyzing the domestic and abroadmarkets and the prospect of edible fungi,the author revealed some existent problems in edible fungi industry and suggested that the government should pay more attention to rational development and protection of wild edible fungi resources.The industrialization and commercialization of edible fungi can be accelerated by selecting fine native isolations,importing improved varieties and promoting artificial propagation.
