Analysis of Element Stiffness Matrix About Space Beam-Element Based on Principle of Virtual Work

  • According to the principle of virtual work,the formulae of element stiffness matrix about space beam-element have strictly been deduced while considering that there are six generalized node displacements for arbitrary space beam.The deduced results are consistent with references,which show that all formulae in this paper are correct,and supplementary for references.They provide some basic theory for further engineering applications.
