A Study on Estimation of Seed Germination Rate by Excellent and Good Extent

  • Through contrast experiments about the excellent and good extent and germination rate of 154 lots of 7 main forestry tree species of Yunnan Province,Cupressus duclouxiana,etc.,an apparent correlation between excellent an d good extent and germination rate have been concluded,thereforea a straightline regressive equation has been established,and the seed germination rate can be estimated in one day according to these equations.Showed below are the specific equations:Cupressus duclouxiana type:y=-0.36+1.00 X;Pinus yunnanensis type:y=-5.80+0.88 X;Pinus armandii:y=-27.6+1.16 X.The difference between the estimated seed germination rate and the practical germination rate is less than permitted difference in GB 2772-1999.
