  • Regression function of height-age of Pinus ponderosa was established by SAS software.Height growth model analysis indicates that before 14,between 14 to 18 and after 18,velocity of height growth of Pinus ponderosa has been lowest,fastest and decreasing,respectively.Based on the above,process of growth of Pinus ponderosa has been divided into three stages as "slow-fast-slow".In the three stages,the average velocity of height growth of Pinus ponderosa is 0.31 m/a,0.75 m/a and 0.56 m/a,respectively.Connected with different stages,measures of management have been proposed.
