Researches on Model Building for Quantificational Intermediate Cutting

  • The model building process for quantification regression model-Ⅰ was introduced.Four factors,i.e.average height of the stand, tree number per hecatare, aspect and average age of the stand were selected as explanatory variables based on investigation data of 94 sample plots in order to establish a quantification intermediate cutting model considering intermediate cutting intensity as criterion variable.Regression equation and partial correlation coefficient were tested and both were quite significant. It is found that the average height of the stand and tree number per hectare have a relative greater effect on intermediate cutting intensity. The systematic error of the model appears relatively lower through accuracy test. The newly erected quantification model can be used to predicate intermediate cutting quantity.
