  • A preliminary study on Pinus armandii witches' broom showed that the area of Pinus armandii forest investigated was up to 2 686.7 hm2 in 5 municipalities of Yunnan.In the investigated forest area,1593.33 hm2,about 59.3% of totally investigated Pinus armandii forest was infected by witches' broom.The disease is seriously influence fruition and output of seed of Pinus armandii.Both fruition and output of seed come down 44% and 27.
