Study on Green Food Production in Forest Area for Protection and Improvement of Ecological Environment

  • The major goal of West Development in China is to realize ecological,harmonious and sustainable development of rural economy in the comparatively backward western provinces and regions with fragile ecological environment.Right strategic measures and effective development approaches such as converting some cropland in steep mountainous area to forest must be taken.Developing green food production on converted former cropland by cultivating appropriate tree species in a non-environmental pollution way is strongly suggested.
