A Study on the Adaptability of Afforestation of Pistacia chinensis in Limestone Mountainous Areas

  • In order to study the afforestation adaptability of Pistacia chinensis in limestone mountainous areas, the authors selected Quercus acutissima,Leacaena leuacephala,Cerasus pseudocerasus and Cupressus duclouxiana as contrast samples. The results have showed that the seedling height of Pistacia chinensis has the biggest growth. However, its land diameter growth rate is lower than that of Cupressus duclouxiana but higher than that of Quercus accutissima,Leacaena leuacephala, and Cerasus pseudocrasus, the conservation rate of Pistacia chinensis is higher than that of the other 4 species. The growing condition and conservation rate of Pistacia chinensis are all good, and its afforestation adaptability in limestone mountainous areas is good too, thus it can be widely developed in the similar geological areas.
