Analysis on Mechanical Properties of Methane Generating Pit Made of Bamboo-framed Concrete by ANSYS Software

  • Structural strength properties of bamboo-framed concrete methane generating pit with spheroid,paraboloid and catenary upper curved surface were analyzed by ANSYS software and numerical simulations and comparisons were done for one another.The results showed that the different curved surface structures had different mechanical strength.It is stressed the importance to keep the upper curved structure surface smooth while a methane generating pit made of bamboo-framed concrete is constructed in order to ensure desired reliability and durability.
