Analyzing and Assessing Rationality of Spatial Distribution of Kunming Zoo

Spatial distribution, infrastructure facilities and animal display arrangement of Kunming Zoo were analyzed and evaluated on the basis of applying zoo planning principles, taking into account of living habits of different animals and on the spot survey.The data and information from the investigation showed that the overall arrangement of the zoo is reasonable.However, there are still some problems e.g.the animal exhibition area is overly concentrated. Some improvement proposals were put forward to be referred to deal with these problems.
