Research Development of in Vitro Breeding and Fast Propagation of Paeonia spp

The research development of in vitro propagation of Paeonia spp.was reviewed, including callus culture, embryo culture, anther culture, pollen culture and organ culture and so on.It was advocated that tissue culture and other fast propagation measures should be applied to promoting industrialization of peony cultivation, appropriate methods should be explored to improve rooting ratio and transplanting survival rate of tube plantlets, and some other suggestions were put forward in the paper.
