Risk Analysis of Phytophthora ramorum Imported into China

Following the pest analysis norms set by International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC), Food and Agriculture Organization(FAO)of the United Nations, the risk of Phytophthora ramorum imported into China was assessed from point -of -views of immigration probability, geographical features and managerial standards, possibility of establishment, spreading potential and economic influence evaluation after establishment.The result demonstrated that the risk of Phytophthora ramorum imported into Chinawould be very high, though it had not been found yet in China, the probability of establishment and spreading potential of the pathogen were great, the consequences of its establishment would be severe, so the pathogen should be listed as quarantine pest in China.
