Landscape Heterogeneity of Greenspace System in Gejiu Urban Area

The landscape heterogeneity of greenspace system in Gejiu urban area was studied according to ecological principles and corresponding methods in landscape science.The greenspace system in Gejiu was classified into six types in the light of land usage.The landscape heterogeneity was analyzed with diversity and other three indices on the basis of setting up classification system of landscape elements.The results showed that the whole greenspace system of Gejiu urban area appeared to be particulate structure, where the protective greenspace played the leading role, specified greenspaces had the maximum landscape heterogeneity, and these two categories of greenspace in Gejiu were the key factors to maintain the ecological balance in the city.Some suggestions were put forward to develop further the greenspace system in Gejiu urban area.
