A Preliminary Study on OPC' S Extraction from Bark of Acacia dealbata

  • Substances in bark of Acacia dealbata were extracted with two kinds of solvent system, i.e., ethyl acetate/water and acetone/water separately.The chemical preliminary test method was applied to identify the chemicals in the extracts.The result of comparison of IR showed that the extracts from the bark Acacia dealbata and those of Acacia mearnsii all belonged to the same category of phenolic substances(OPC' S).It was indicated that the active components (OPC' S)can be extracted from the bark of Acacia dealbata.
