  • The development history, current situation and the application of super hydro -absorbent polymers to industry, agriculture, forestry, horticulture and daily life were summed up in the paper.Based on discussing the super hydro -absorbent characteristics of the polymers, some suggestions were put forward to develop approaches of applying the super hydro -absorbent polymers in forest fire control.
