Abstract

The methods for area measuring in forest resource inventory, implementation of programs such as' returning the land to forest' and afforestation engineering with GPS technique were introduced.It was showed that the forest area could be computed by means of programming with CASIO fx-4500p program calculator after the latitude and longitude of the forest boundaries have beenmeasured.The advantage and application perspective of the area measuring method were expounded through a practical case analysis.
