A Study on Multiple Control of Small System by Using Miniature Programmable Logic Controller

  • The technological demand can not be met by regular PID control unit for a heat exchanger system. A compound control system that was composed of PID control unit working with static feed forward supported by a miniature programmable logic controller as hardware platform was discussed in this paper. It was showed that the temperature of heat exchanger in the industrial process could be effectively controlled and the multiple control and logic control might be well combined with one another by this compound system on the premise that the high performance-cost was ensured.
