Study on the Distribution Pattern of Arboreal Species Abundance of Mountainous Rain Forest in Dawei Mountains,Yunnan,China

The study on distribution pattern of arboreal species abundance of mountainous rain forest in Dawei Mountains National Nature Reserve, Yunnan Province showed that the distribution of arboreal species abundance in the primary and less disturbed mountainous rain forests in the studied area accorded with Logarithmic series distribution, and the difference in species population was striking, representing that the number of sparse species was much greater than that of enriching species.It was also proven by the study that the index combination of species abundance with species diversity could show better the structure characteristics of the communities to be studied.The comparatively mature mountainous rain forests and the rain forests suffered less disturbance from human beings had greater biodiversity and stronger stability.
